I know you are busy, so I will not ask you to fill out needless forms, I’ll explain the risks and benefits of securing and defending IP rights in practical terms, and I’ll always be available to answer your questions and provide you with timely status updates. I will be your trusted advocate so that you can focus on growing your business.

A little bit about me: My family emigrated to the United States from the Azores (Portugal) when I was 10 years old. My widowed mother, my four siblings and I, moved to the Central Valley of California. I put myself through college, graduate school, and law school while simultaneously working various jobs and with my mother’s help. (I named the firm Moses Rose Law as a tribute to my father, Moisés, and as a thank you to my mother, Rosa.)  

From an early age, I knew I wanted to be an attorney, but I did not know what type of law I wanted to practice. After working in support roles at law firms, I discovered there was a whole area of law devoted to brands and art. My interests have always been fashion, beauty, entertainment, books, tech, etc., so it was clear I was destined to be an IP attorney. Working with entrepreneurs and creatives is rewarding and fun. I have been practicing IP law exclusively for 10 years, I’ve never looked back, and I genuinely love what I do!

Before founding Moses Rose Law, I was an associate at Am Law 100 firms establishing and protecting the IP rights of famous brands. I have worked on trademark and copyright matters for Apple, Lyft, Amazon Studios, Meta, Red Bull, Fanatics, WD-40, Trader Joe’s, Hello Kitty, and Salesforce, to name a few. Working with world famous brands at large law firms has been invaluable, but given my background, I especially enjoy working directly with clients and securing IP rights for small, immigrant, minority, and female owned businesses.
